Neuro Technology is delighted to host the first IPC Hand Soldering Competition in the Middle East Region! It is a great honour to be selected as the Middle East centre for conducting the Semifinals of the IPC World Competition.

Guidelines for the contest

  • The contest is aimed at recognizing & felicitating the best skills in Hand Soldering of the Printed Board Assemblies. Soldering of electronic joints in a Printed Circuit with Zero defect ensures the reliability of the electronic equipment.
  • The contest will be held in three stages 1. Semi-final round (15-16 July  2022) 2. Final round (4 August  2022) and 3. IPC World Competition (18 November 2022)
  • This registration form is for the Middle East Regional Semifinals at Hakko Soldering School, Dubai, UAE
  • The winner of the Semifinal is eligible to participate in the final to be held in Bengaluru, India on 4th August 2022.
  • Travel and stay of the participants for semi-final & final rounds will have to be borne by company deputing the winners.
  • Observers & Judges are not permitted to take part in the contest.
  • The contest shall be conducted strictly as per the IPC Guidelines. Completed assemblies are judged for the quality of soldering as per IPC Standards: IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001 & IPC 7711/21 – Class 3 criteria.
  • Soldering equipment,  tools and consumables for the Semifinals will be provided by Hakko Soldering School, Dubai, UAE.
  • The Winner of the contest will be recognised as the ‘Champion of the Middle East Region’ and will be rewarded with a trophy and certificate.
  • Participants will be assigned a contestant number and time slot upon successful registration.
  • One participant from one organization.
  • Seats are Limited – First Come First Served Basis
